The Volunteers, also known as the Vols, are the varsity athletic teams of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
The most popular of the University's teams are:
- men's football, led by head coach Phillip Fulmer;
- women's basketball, led by head coach Pat Summitt; and
- men's basketball, led by head coach Bruce Pearl.
Other varsity sports played by the Volunteers include:

- women's softball
- tennis
