| Saving Little Hearts is dedicated to helping children with congenital heart defects and their families by providing financial and emotional assistance and educational information. Saving Little Hearts also strives to provide enriching, educational and fun experiences for these children which will help them build friendships and confidence.

About Congenital Heart Defects
|
| According to Wikipedia, CHD affects "approximately one in every 125 babies born, [and it is] the most common birth defect (March of Dimes). Forty thousand people are born each year with a CHD; 4,000 will not survive their first year."

About Saving Little Hearts
|
| Saving Little Hearts is a locally-based charity that serves the families of children born with congenital heart defects. Founders Brad and Karin Coulter are the parents of Ben Coulter, who was born with CHD. They had difficulty finding good information to help them understand what was happening, so once Ben was out of immediate danger, they set about to rectify that situation for the next family in this area to have that happen. 5 years later, they're the 3rd largest organization in the United States that is focused on children born with CHD.
